Helping Locally
Locally we sponsor an organization called Rocky Mountain Kids that operates four group foster homes for teenage girls and boys aged 12 to 18 years old. These teens are taught the life skills necessary to succeed in life—whether their goal is to return home or to emancipate and live independently. The girls group homes have served over 150 young women, where the boys group homes have served over 250 boys and continues to be the strong force that helps to turn these boys and girls lives around. The four homes continue to be a positive influence in the lives of those helped—many of the children return to the different houses for holidays and visits after they have emancipated.
